Our History
In 1956, Professional Pharmacy and Surgical Supply opened its doors behind the county hospital in Bedford, Indiana. This small apothecary was founded upon quality service for patients in the home, and a sincere concern for the needs of the sick and disabled.
From this modest beginning, ConvaCare® Services was created in 1969 to work with independent pharmacies, and other professionals getting them into the Home Medical Equipment and Respiratory Services business through a franchise opportunity.
Today ConvaCare® Services, has grown into a network of locations in the states of Alabama, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We continue to meet with prospective owners in many additional states.
Because of our commitment to excellence and teamwork, ConvaCare® has become a leader in the Home Medical and Respiratory Equipment and Service Industry.
